John loves the experience of being an artist in Colorado. “Living in this beautiful state allows me to really enjoy all aspects of Western landscape oil painting and drawing. Being able to spend time outside in the mountains or in my studio which is located outside my home, is a very tranquil setting for creativity. The difference in the seasons here in the mountains is a inspiration for all my work”. John loves to Plein Air paint on location, as he values the sights, sounds and smells of nature. This allows him the special opportunity to experience first hand what his clients enjoy, enhances his creativity, and he works to incorporate those feelings into all his art pieces.

Step Inside the Studio
My working studio is located outside my home here in Colorado. This amazing setting amongst the trees and mountains enhances my creative spirit as I create all my art pieces. The studio is also a private place to meet with new and existing clients to view samples of my work and plan their next original painting or drawing without interruption.
